Oppo has unveiled the Reno 4 series comprising two new phones – Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro. Both the phones are driven by Snapdragon 765G chipset. They also feature 65W fast charging, 5G, triple cameras by the back, and Android 10-based Color OS 7.2.

Traditionally, the Reno series is known for its camera. Herein, you get a 48MP trio on both, albeit with different ancillary sensors. The vanilla Reno 4 packs an 8MP ultrawide sensor with 119° Ultra Wide Lens and a 2MP monochrome lens. Meanwhile, the Pro has better optics viz. a 12MP ultrawide snapper with 120° FoV and a 13MP telephoto lens with a 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom.

Weirdly enough, Oppo has bestowed the vanilla Reno 4 with dual front cameras (32MP+2MP portrait module).

On the display front, Reno 4 Pro has the advantage due to a larger 6.5″ 90Hz panel that covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and hits 800nits of peak brightness.

The phones are currently launched in China and will hit the stores there starting June 12th. At the moment, there is no word on the Indian launch and availability. But, as soon as we get them, you’ll be the first to know.
