Like every year, this Techtober is going to be an eventful month. OnePlus, which had the launch of 7T last month, is set to unveil the 7T Pro in London on October 10. And as anticipated, an exclusive McLaren Edition is also incoming. It was confirmed none other than the company CEO Pete Lau via his twitter handle.

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition
Both 7T Pro and the McLaren Edition will bear the same Snapdragon 855+ chipset seen in the OnePlus 7T (review). The new chip claims to bring about a 15 percent boost in graphics performance and a 4 percent bump in CPU performance over the older SD 855 SoC. In our usage, the 7T was snappy, partly thanks to the Android 10 based Oxygen OS. Needless to say, this software will be within the new phones too.
Similarities might end there as Pete hasn’t revealed where 7T or 7T Pro would get the special edition.
It could carry 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. McLaren might also boast a faster 65W Warp charging. On the imaging front, we may get a circular camera arrangement like the one on the OnePlus 7T.
Aesthetically, the leaked renders reveal a frosted glass with orange accents and edges resembling the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition (review).
