OnePlus has unveiled the Pro to the 7T and a special McLaren Edition in London. The regular OnePlus 7T (review) had its global debut in India just last month. These new phones look aesthetically different are carrying jacked-up specs to justify the Pro moniker. OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren variant and Olive Green version of the Bullets Wireless 2 were also introduced.
Before we delve into their specs and features, let’s have a quick glance over their price and availability.
OnePlus 7T Pro & McLaren Pricing and Availability
- OnePlus 7T Pro is priced at Rs. 53,999. It will hit the store shelves from October 11.
- OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will be available at Rs. 58,999 starting November 6 through OnePlus.com and retail partners.
OnePlus 7T Pro highlights
The Pro ships with the same Snapdragon 855+ chipset found within the standard variant. This is roomed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. You get the smoothness of the 90Hz QHD+ AMOLED display and Oxygen OS 10 software which is now based on Android 10.
Design-wise OnePlus 7T Pro deviates from the 7T and conforms more to the precursor, i.e 7 Pro (review). It has a motorized pop-up module with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. At the back, there is a vertical camera array including a 48MP primary shooter along with an 8MP 3x optical zoom telephoto, and a 16MP ultrawide snapper. It also borrows the 2.5 Macro shot ability from the 7T.
Another change comes in the form of a larger 4085mAh battery that’s backed by a 30T Warp Charge.
OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition: What’s different?
This one loads 12GB of RAM and its design is themed around the Sports Car Brand. Rest, everything from the processor, storage, software, etcetera remains the same.
There’s even good news for old OnePlus phones as the brand has promised Oxygen OS 10 based on Android 10 for handsets going back all the way to OnePlus 5. The OnePlus 6 and 6T users will get the latest update this month itself.
