Even as we await the official release (22nd June for India, 20th June elsewhere) of the much publicized OnePlus flagship, the OnePlus 5, an image that claims to be a real one of the phone itself, as well as its pricing have come to the fore. (हिंदी में पढ़ें)

The said image has provided grave insight as to what the OnePlus will put to offer, and is hardly consistent with the earlier ‘leaks’ and ‘concept images’ that were previously doing the rounds.

Now, the image confirms the presence of a dual camera unit at the back, placed together in a horizontal manner (rather than the vertical setup the earlier reports were pointing at). other than that, there a laser sensor as well as an LED flash (presumably) have been placed to the right of the camera module.

Coming to the sides, one can spot the trademark OnePlus mute switch and the volume rockers on the left-hand side, while the right side plays host to the power key, and the front has a camera placed on the left-hand side.

This is as far as we could go about the physical description of the phone, and it does remind of the Apple smartphone pantheon. Anyway, that’s about it on the outside.

For the innards, OnePlus has already confirmed the presence of a Snapdragon 835 processor, and the company’s association with photography benchmark site DxO indicates that it is gunning for class-leading optical prowess.

Speaking of the so-called ‘leaked information’ of the phone, it is now clear that it will have 8gigs of RAM, up to 25% faster charging capabilities than its predecessor and obviously, better optics (a preview of which was the low-light snapshot that the company CEO Pete Lau posted just last night).

Now, latest OnePlus 5 online leak has revealed alleged price of the 2017 flagship killer. As per the new leak, OnePlus will be offering the OnePlus 5 in two variants where the 6GB variant could cost Rs. 32,999 and the 8GB variant could be priced at Rs. 37,999.

Well, 22nd June isn’t that far away now and we’ll keep you in the loop if something substantial comes up before that. Let’s see what transpires two weeks from now!
