Under the banner of “Mera Pehla Smartphone scheme,” the Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 are offered at an effective price of Rs 4,999 and Rs 7,499, respectively, which is Rs 2000 less than their previous best price.
Like most cashback offers, there’s a catch here. This offer will only work when you buy the phones with Airtel’s Rs. 169 plan. Similarly, Airtel users will receive their final installment of Rs 1,500 cashback when they complete worth Rs 3,500 recharge in the next 18-month period.
To recall, HMD Global announced Nokia 3 alongside Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 during its first launch event. The entry segment smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on layered top. The nokia3 is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek 6737 chipset along with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable onboard storage. Nokia has packed an 8MP camera on both sides of the phone. Aided by 2630mAh battery, the Nokia 3 comes running on Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
The Nokia 2 is no powerhouse either. It packs a 5-inch HD LPTS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone houses a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 quad-core chipset with 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable internal memory which certainly doesn’t make a spectacular reading. Interesting, Nokia packs it with a 4100mAh battery which is definitely its strongest suit. Nokia recently started pushing Android Oreo update on the device.
