Motorola Watch 100 is likely to launch this year: Design and Specs

You may know of Moto 360 smartwatches from Motorola, but the brand is now set to bring a new wearable very soon. In the latest press release, the company has revealed that it is partnering with CE Brands to launch Moto Watch 100. Moto Watch 100 is expected to be a combination of affordable price and premium feel. Some details about the design and specs of Moto Watch 100 have also been revealed.

Moto Watch 100 Design and Features

Some renders have leaked online, which reveal the design and other key details of the smartwatch. Moto Watch 100 has a round display with two oval buttons on the right edge. The case of the wearable is made of aluminum and there is no crown, which was present in the Moto 360 watches.

The Moto Watch 100 is expected to be launched in 2 color variants: Phantom Black and Steel Silver.

The smartwatch is expected to run WearOS (but not confirmed) and has a 5ATM rating for water resistance. It would pack a 355mAh battery and as per the FCC listing gives us a look at its charging connector too. Other features in the mix are a heart rate sensor, Bluetooth 5.2, and a GPS sensor.

Moto Watch 100 Price & Availability

The press release reveals that Moto Watch 100 will have an entry-level price and mass production will begin sometime in November 2021.

Motorola’s Future Plans

Looking at the roadmap ahead, Moto seems to be working on Moto Watch 200 and Moto Watch 100S too. These two are reportedly in development for the first quarter of 2022 as mid-level wearables. The design of the Moto Watch 200 is similar to that of the Apple Watch but without the digital crown and two buttons. The exact launch date and pricing details of these upcoming Moto smartwatches are not known at the moment.
