Moto Z3 Play To Come With 18:9 Display and Dual Rear Cameras: Confirm Press Renders

After announcing its budget and mid-range phones, Lenovo-owned Motorola’s next project will be Moto Z3 Play. The all new Moto Z-series phone is set to embrace the currently trending 18:9 display and sleek design.

The alleged renders of the Moto Z3 Play have leaked online showing them in full glory. As per these renders, the phone will feature a slightly taller display with slim bezels and dual-rear camera setup.

This alleged Moto Z3 Play leak seems to be based on documents that are part of the official press materials which someone leaked prematurely.

Moto Z3 Play Features (Expected)

As per the leaks, the Moto Z3 Play features an 18:9 aspect ratio display on the front. The panel is expected to be 5.99-inch long and offers full-HD+ (1080x2160p) resolution. The phone has bezels on the sides, but they are thin compared to the Z2 Play and doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor on the chin.

The rear-end of the phone has a glass back, protruding cameras and the Pogo pin connector to make it compatible with Moto Mods. The fingerprint sensor is likely to be relocated at the power button on the right edge.

If we sum up all the previous leaks, the Moto Z3 Play could come with a Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. Furthermore, it is rumored to come with a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel camera sensor on the front. The phone should run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

Talking about Moto Z3 Play’s launch, it is expected to happen soon as the phone is in its final stage and doing roundups on the certifications site.
