OnePlus has confirmed for a special OnePlus 6 “Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War limited edition” phone to be launched on May 17, alongside the normal OnePlus 6 in Mumbai. The development comes a week after the smartphone maker announced a partnership with Marvel Studios to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The collaboration will be similar to the one between OnePlus 5T and Star Wars, announced last year. The OnePlus 6′ special edition phone is sure to have the Avengers hero’s exclusive wallpapers and themes and some distinctive design element thrown in the mix.

OnePlus has also released a teaser for the same, which shows the phone with a notch display, 19:9 screen aspect ratio and a unique textured back. The design of the phone is inspired by the new Avengers: Infinity War movie that is going to hit the theatres on April 27th.
OnePlus 6 Specifications and Features
The innards of both special edition and normal flagship killer of OnePlus is going to be the same. For those keeping track, the OnePlus 6 will sport a notched display, a glass over metal unibody design, and rock Snapdragon 845 with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 built-in storage.

It is expected to feature a dual-rear 20-megapixel + 16-megapixel sensor on the rear and 20-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Latest OnePlus 6 suggest that it will be able to record super slo-mo like Samsung and Sony flagships.
The OnePlus 6 will run on Android Oreo-based Oxygen OS out of the box and house a battery with dash charging support (the capacity we don’t know as yet). Since OnePlus has confirmed glass back, the Odds are high that the next flagship killer comes wireless charging support.

The OnePlus 6 will be launched in India on May 17, and its first sale starts from May 21 exclusively on Amazon.in. OnePlus this year too giving its fans a chance to witness the launch event live.
