HMD Global is on a roll. After presenting its 2018 Nokia smartphones, the firm is set to announce two new handsets under the X-series on April 27 in China. Both Nokia X phones have previously been leaked online and now renders of one of the devices, Nokia X6, have surfaced on the internet along with some key specifications of the phone.
The leak came from Weibo, China’s Twitter, and shows Nokia X6 from both front and back. It also revealed that it will flaunt a 5.8-inch Full HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with a notch.
Nokia X6 Design and Features (Leaked)
The render suggests that the Nokia X6 fascia will come with an iPhone X-like notch and a slight amount of bezel at the bottom. Whereas its flip looks exactly like the HMD Global’s mid-range phone, the Nokia 7 Plus. It has a vertically-positioned dual-rear camera, fingerprint sensor, Nokia branding, and copper accents to distinguish the edges.
As for the specifications, the Nokia X6 is expected to come in two processor variants — Snapdragon 636 SoC and MediaTek P60 mobile chipset. The SoC will be backed by two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage. The handset will run on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
For those interested in optics, Nokia X6 is said to feature a duo of 12-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens on the rear. Other information such as the front camera sensor, battery capacity, sensors and connectivity options are not known as of now.
