Moto Z3 Play with Snapdragon 636 and Dual-rear Camera Launched: Specifications and Features

Shortly after launching its Moto G6-series in India, Lenovo-owned Motorola took the wraps off Moto Z3 Play, globally. The major highlights of the phone include an 18:9 Super AMOLED display, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, AI-backed dual-rear camera setup and a water-repellent nano-coating.

Just like its predecessor, the new Moto Z3 Play also comes with Moto Mods support. It has magnetic pins on the rear to connect Moto’s modular accessories like a Battery Pack, Projector, and Insta Print.

Moto Z3 Play Features

On Moto Z3 Play you get a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and visibly thin bezels on either side. Under the hood, the phone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 509 GPU.

For photography, the Moto Z3 Play comes with 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, backed by a 5-megapixel secondary shooter with f/2.2 aperture lens and a dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, it offers an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens.

Other specifications of Moto Z3 Play include on Android Oreo (8.0), 3,000mAh and 32GB and 64GB, which can be further boosted up to 2TB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the handset includes 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

Moto Z3 Play Price and Availability

The Moto Z3 Play price set in Brazil at R$ 2,299 (roughly Rs. 40,157). It will soon hit the US market bundled with a battery moto mod for $499 (roughly Rs. 33,335). There is no exact date of Moto Z3 Play India availability as of now.
