Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, hands-on images of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, one of the purported devices to launch, have surfaced online. Over the years, Samsung’s wireless earbuds have followed a typical design language that sets them apart from other models on the market. However, reports about the company doing away with the current design and adopting a more AirPods-like design to improve the microphone’s placement have been doing rounds for quite some time.

Galaxy Buds 3 Pro In Smoking Gray Color

Most recently, renowned tipster Ice Universe has shared some hands-on pictures of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro on X (formerly known as Twitter). The first thing that catches the eye is the striking gray color. The charging case seems to have a matte finish in its lower half, with an LED light that could indicate the charging and connection status. However, the upper half of the charging case consists of a translucent (see-through) lid that makes the earbud visible.
What Are Those Red And Blue Accents Anyway?
It is worth mentioning that the images match the renders that have been circulating online. Inside the lid, there are two hollow sections that house the earbuds, much like on the AirPods Pro. However, what’s different is the presence of the red and blue accents (below the resting tip of the earbuds), something we’ve also seen in the leaked images of the Galaxy Watch 7. The earbuds themselves are more shiny than the charging case, with a black ear tip.

Buds 3 Pro To Feature Glowing LED Strips Across The Stem’s Length

Interestingly, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro also seems to have vertical LED strips along the stems of the earbuds. Given Samsung’s focus on minimalist and classy designs on the latest products, it is very unlikely that Samsung will include LED light strips on its products. Nonetheless, we can’t deny the possibility that the company could overhaul the design of the earbuds to make them stand out. As seen in the image, the LED strips are glowing in a light blue shade.
In another image, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is seen with a flip-style foldable smartphone with Samsung’s fast pairing system on the screen. Does that mean that the earbuds won’t support Google’s Fast Pair for other Android smartphones? Well, at the moment, it does seem so, but we’ll wait until the product goes official.

Galaxy Buds 3’s Retail Packaging Also Surfaces Online

Elsewhere, GSMArena has shared an image of the Galaxy Buds 3‘s retail box. However, the image doesn’t reveal much information about the earbuds, except that they would come in a white box and might feature a vertical strip (could be LEDs) on each stem. However, we can say that the Galaxy Buds 3 looks like the AirPods (3rd Generation) or the original wireless AirPods.
More details about the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could show up anytime now. Samsung should officially unveil the devices at the Galaxy Unpacked event that will take place on July 10, 2024. Meanwhile, the next-generation foldables are up for pre-orders on the company’s Indian website.
