Moto G7 series has launched at an event in Sao Paulo, Brazil today. This 2019 lineup from Motorola comes Moto G7, Moto G7 Play, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Plus, with the endmost one being the premium of the lot. Though we have known each and every detail of the series through numerous leaks and rumors, this time we have the official specs and features to share. So, let’s get into the details.
Moto G7 Plus
We begin with the bigger brother of the family as it possesses the best features, evident from its Plus denomination. It sports a large 6.24-inch display with 1080 x 2270 pixel resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Right at the top, you have a waterdrop notch which houses an 8MP selfie snapper with F/2.2 aperture.
Speaking of cameras, this one has a dual rear camera setup which comprises of a primary 16MP shooter with F/1.7 aperture paired with a 5MP secondary sensor. The camera department boasts AI-based enhancements, super slow motion video recording at 240 frames per second and an auto smile feature.

Ironically there’s nothing Plus under the hood. The phone runs on Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. As for the storage, Motorola includes a 64GB onboard storage. The Plus edition has a standard 3000mAh battery. When it comes to performance, the Android Pie software is likely to turn out fine as Motorola keeps it plain and bloat-free.
Moto G7
Coming to the standard edition, it shares a lot of specs with the Plus rendition such as Display, RAM and Storage and the Software. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
It is powered by a lower Snapdragon 632 SoC. And the specs are lowered in the optics department too. Although Moto keeps the same front shooter, the rear camera setup drops to a 12-megapixel primary one with F/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor is the same as above.
It comes with a 15W turbo power charger out of the box.
Moto G7 Play
Moto G7 Play features a 5.7-inch regular-notched display with 720 x 1512 resolution with 19:9 aspect ratio. This is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This would be available in Deep Indigo and Starry Black color variants.
It shares the same processing power of Snapdragon 632 from the aforementioned phone. The 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM fall in the low-tier, while it is fueled by a 3000mAh battery like the above ones. This one supports 10W rapid charging for which you get a charger within the box.
The similarities continue in the front optics with an 8MP selfie snapper. You would love the front-facing flash, residing on the right side of the notch. Meanwhile, the phone’s back houses a 13MP (F/2.0) plus 8MP (F2.2) duo. This one also runs on Android Pie.

Moto G7 Power
The major highlight of this phone that differentiates it from the four is its massive 5000mAh battery. Moto G7 Power also supports TurboPower charging. It has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The camera department showcases similarities with minor variations. It has a 12MP (F/2.0) along with an 8MP sensor (F/2.2). The primary module uses phase detection autofocus (PDAF). Other camera peculiarities include built-in screen flash, 4K video, timelapse, Cinemagraph, and Google Lens support.
It is powered by 1.8GHz Snapdragon 632 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Motorola gives you inbuilt storage of 32GB. Like its brothers, this also runs on the latest Android version out of the box.
Moto G7 comes with Face Unlock and Fingerprint scanner for securing your device data.
