In one single stroke Lenovo-owned Motorola launched six new smartphones – three each under its Moto E5 and Moto G6-series. Taking the next-generation G-series in point, it includes Moto G6, G6 Play, and G6 Plus. Each of them is different from the other, but side-by-side they all share similarities too.

Moto G6 Plus Features
The Moto G6 Plus sits at the top in hierarchy with its marginally bigger display, more powerful chipset and better camera performance. The phone sports a 5.9-inch tall IPS LCD display with 1080p+ resolution and visibly thin bezels up front and employs a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor beneath the skin.
For photography, the Moto G6 Plus primary camera features a 12MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture lens and 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens on the back. While on the front for selfies, it boasts an 8-megapixel sensor with flash, 80-degree lens, and f/2.2 aperture.

Other specifications of the Moto G6 Plus include 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, dedicated microSD card slot, and 3200mAh battery with turbo charge support. The fingerprint sensor is on the front, right under the display
Moto G6 and G6 Play Features
The Moto G6 and G6 Play, on the other hand, are similar looking phone with curved edges on the back and thin bezels on the front. The only visible difference between the two phones are the placement of fingerprint sensor, the Moto G6 has it on the front whereas the G6 Play sports it on the rear panel.

Talking about their specifications, the Moto G6 and G6 Play both comes with 5.7-inch display with Full HD+ and HD+ resolution, respectively. The G6 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage.
Whereas the Moto G6 Play rock 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset, mated with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration. Both the devices have a dedicated microSD card slot to expand storage up to 128GB.

At photography front, the Moto G6 sport a dual 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors with dual-tone LED flash on the rear and an 16MP sensor on the front with selfie flash. In the similar context, the Moto G6 Play comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED, while a similar selfie flash and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front.
The highlight of Moto G6 Play is its 4,000mAh battery with TurboCharge support whereas its elder sibling has 3000mAh battery with TurboCharge support.
Moto G6, G6 Play and G6 Plus Price and Availability
The Moto G6 trio will be available for sale from the first week of May, except in Brazil (where the sale has already begun) and Mexico (where it will be available from next week). The G6, G6 Play, G6 Plus will be launched in the Asia Pacific – including India soon.
The Moto G6 has been priced at $249 (roughly to Rs. 16,500), while the Moto G6 Play will sell for $199 (roughly to Rs. 13,000). As for the Moto G6 Plus price, it has been set at EUR 299 (about Rs. 24,350). There is no information about its India pricing and release date as of now.
