Lenovo-owned Motorola’s new Moto G6 series global unveiling is awaited on April 19 in Brazil. But prior to that, a video displaying one of the Moto G6 phones, G6 Play has been leaked on the internet giving us a look at the device from every corner. The design of the phone in the short hands-on video coincides with the leaks made in the past.
It is confirmed now that the Moto G6 Play will come with a single rear camera, and an 18:9 fullscreen display with visibly thin bezels, up front.
Moto G6 Play Specifications (Expected)
Unfortunately, the video did not mention any specification details about the device, but if past rumors are anything to go by then the Moto G6 Play will feature a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) Max Vision display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 SoC, paired with an Adreno 308 GPU.
In optics, the phone is expected to sport a 13-megapixel sensor on the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. The Moto G6 Play will run on Android Oreo out of the box and support Moto turbo charge feature.
Other details such as battery capacity, RAM and storage, and price information are not known as of now. Things will be clear as we inch closer to the launch event where its elder siblings Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus will also make the debut.
Moto G6 and G6 Plus Specifications (Expected)
The Moto G6 will come with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display protected by a Gorilla Glass on top. It is expected to rock a 1.8GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Other leaked specification of the phone includes 12MP+5MP rear camera set up, an 8MP front camera.
The Moto G6 Plus, on the other hand, is going to be the premiere phone in the lot. It will sport a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display, and most probably be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
All three Moto G6 phones are going to be the mid-range phones, their exact price and availability will be announced at the launch event on April 19.
