- The Fitbit Air launched globally at $99.99, making the reported Indian retail price significantly higher than its international pricing.
Google’s Fitbit Air appears to have reached Indian retail stores weeks ahead of its official launch. Photos shared online show boxes of the screenless fitness tracker in black, blue, and pink colourways, with one retailer reportedly selling the device for around ₹16,000.
Google confirmed in August that the Fitbit Air would launch in India in October 2026 alongside the Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5. The company hasn’t announced an exact launch date or official India price yet.
The Fitbit Air launched globally in May at $99.99, which converts to roughly ₹9,500. Early Amazon India listings were considerably higher, with the black Performance Loop variant listed at ₹17,380 and the pink version at ₹18,490. The reported ₹16,000 retail price sits within that range, although it remains unofficial.
Fitbit Air Specifications and Features

The Fitbit Air is a screenless fitness tracker designed around Google’s Fitbit ecosystem. It uses an optical heart-rate sensor, three-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, red and infrared sensors for SpO2 measurements, and a skin temperature sensor.
The tracker supports heart rate variability, breathing rate, resting heart rate, sleep stage tracking, AFib-related heart rhythm alerts, and automatic recognition for more than 140 activities. It also includes Cardio Load and Readiness scores.
Google includes a three-month Fitbit Health Premium trial with the device, which provides access to the Google Health Coach experience and Gemini-powered coaching features.
The Fitbit Air weighs around 5.2 grams by itself and approximately 12 grams with the band. It uses recycled polycarbonate and PBT plastics, along with a textile band and stainless-steel buckle.
Battery life is rated at up to seven days. Google also claims that five minutes of charging can provide up to a full day of use.
The tracker works with Android 11 or newer and iOS 16.4 or newer.
Three Colorways, Plus the Stephen Curry Edition

Google showcased the Fitbit Air with a pink Performance Loop during its Pixel 11 briefing in India. The retail photos now show black, blue, and pink units, indicating that these colour options are headed to the Indian market. The poster also confirmed to us that the Stephen Curry edition is coming to India as well, although they were unable to photograph that particular version.
India Pricing Is Still Unconfirmed
The ₹16,000 price currently being reported comes from unofficial retail stock, so it shouldn’t be treated as the final India price.
Google has confirmed the October launch window, while the exact date, official price, and retail partners are still pending. The global $99.99 starting price also leaves plenty of room for the final Indian price to differ from the ₹16,000 figure currently being quoted.
