Moto G6 India Price Leaks On E-Commerce Site Ahead Of Official Launch

Amazon India has accidentally put out the price of Motorola’s upcoming Moto G6 just hours ahead of June 4 official launch which we reported first. The e-commerce site placed an ad revealing that the Moto G6 will start from Rs 13,999 in India. Interestingly, the banner was taken down within minutes time. There is also an outside chance that the banner was leaked on purpose as a marketing tactic to create some buzz just hours before official launch.

Lenovo hasn’t had a very eventful 2018. Infact, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play will be the first phones in India this year. In a bid to create some hype the company has been teasing both these phones through its social media channel for a few weeks.

The Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 aren’t entirely unheard off as both these phones are already available in China and Brazil. Between these two devices, the Moto G6 offers better features and specifications. The handset has a 5.7-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 screen aspect ratio.

It is equipped with a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. On optics front, the Moto G6 to feature a feature 12MP + 5MP dual-rear camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The phone is likely to come in 3GBRAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB+64GB ROM combination. The 3GB RAM+32GB ROM variant could pe priced at Rs 13,999.

The Moto G6 Play which is also set to debut in India today comes with 5.7inch display but has HD+ resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box.The Moto G6 Play comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED, while a similar selfie flash and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front.
