TL; DR
  • Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple is preparing a $100 price increase for the iPhone 18 Pro in the US.
  • The iPhone 18 Pro could start at around ₹1,44,900 in India, up from ₹1,34,900.
  • The Pro models are expected to get camera, battery, and Dynamic Island changes.
  • Apple will officially announce the pricing at tonight’s 10:30 p.m. IST event.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max tonight, and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has shared some last-minute details ahead of the event. Among the biggest changes is reportedly a $100 price increase for the iPhone 18 Pro in the US.

The iPhone 17 Pro currently starts at $1,099 in the US, so the reported increase would put the iPhone 18 Pro at around $1,199. That’s considerably lower than what previous reports have suggested, with some even claiming a $300 price hike.

iPhone 18 Pro Price in India

The iPhone 17 Pro starts at ₹1,34,900 in India. If Apple applies a similar increase to the Indian pricing, the iPhone 18 Pro could start at around ₹1,44,900, marking a ₹10,000 increase.

This is still an expected price based on the reported US increase. Apple will confirm the Indian pricing after tonight’s launch event.

Alongside the price change, Gurman reports that the iPhone 18 Pro models will retain a similar overall design, while the Pro Max could get a mechanical camera aperture. Apple is also expected to introduce a smaller Dynamic Island, A20 Pro chip with 2nm fabrication, improved battery life, and a redesigned vapor chamber.
