Moto G5S Plus Specifications Leak: Snapdragon 625 and 13MP Dual Cameras in tow

Moto’s deemed successor to its G5 Plus handset, the G5S Plus smartphone has been constantly in the news for the past few months. Now, more news has trickled in regarding the phone which sheds light on some the specifications it is coming with.(हिंदी में पढ़ें)

The source of this news is celebrated leakster Evan Blass who, in his post on microblogging site Twitter, revealed as to what we can expect from Moto’s yet-to-be-unveiled device.

The G5S Plus is being to said to come out sporting a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution, and would be powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset, with an Adreno 506 GPU playing the supporting role.

 

The is expected to come out in a couple of variants differing on the RAM/ROM combination (3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB), and have a maximum storage limit of 128GB for both of them.

There’s the latest Android 7.1 Nougat OS put in place for the phone, as is a fingerprint sensor on the front.

Optically, the phone would sport a 13MP dual camera unit at the back in an RGB + monochrome combination that will have features like dual-tone flash and 4K video recording capabilities. Upfront, selfie-lovers can make use of an 8MP snapper, that has LED flash.

The phone is also said to boast of a metal unibody that’s topped with a water repellent nano-coating to save it from damage. Rounding off the tentative specifications are the phone’s connectivity options that include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS.

About the launch of the phone, it will, in all probability, be announced along with its younger sibling – the G5S – and the Moto Z2 Force at the company’s launch event that is set to take place on July 25 ion New York.
