McLaren 750S Price in India

McLaren kicks off the new year by unveiling the McLaren 750S in India, succeeding the renowned 720S. Priced at Rs 5.91 crore (ex-showroom), the 750S maintains the 720S’s winning formula while subtly enhancing various aspects. This swift introduction solidifies McLaren’s commitment to providing enthusiasts with high-performance supercars, featuring nuanced improvements in both design and performance.

Design

Certainly accurate, the 750S undeniably resembles a facelifted 720S. Retaining the familiar nose, the design sees subtle tweaks to the bumper, resulting in a cleaner aesthetic. The headlight styling, while similar, now exhibits a slightly narrower profile.

The teardrop silhouette, as observed from the top, remains a defining feature, tracing the numerous curves of the exterior. However, small adjustments have been introduced for aerodynamic optimization. Moving to the rear, incremental tweaks include changes to the bumper, a new deck, and an updated mesh grille, collectively enhancing the overall impression of the McLaren 750S.

McLaren’s latest 750S model introduces a lighter exhaust system, shedding 2.2 kg and repositioned at the center for an enhanced exhaust tone. The active rear wing has been elevated for optimal performance. Every design element, from cuts and creases to vents, serves a functional purpose, prioritizing airflow optimization, reduced drag, and increased downforce. Notably, rear wheel arches feature vents, and a subtly designed diffuser enhances aerodynamics. McLaren hints at a potentially more aggressive diffuser for a future LT derivative.

Powertrain

Key specifications of the McLaren 750S include a robust 750PS power output and an impressive 800Nm torque generated by its 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. The power is exclusively channeled to the rear wheels through a swift 7-speed automatic transmission, catapulting the car from 0 to 100 kmph in a mere 2.8 seconds. With a top speed reaching 332 kmph, the 750S ensures exhilarating performance. Notably, the carbon ceramic brakes, equipped with 6-piston calipers, deliver substantial stopping power for a well-rounded driving experience.
