Perhaps a 3G variant of a look-alike 2015 flagship might not be the ideal way to begin 2016 – the year when 4G is finally meaningful in India – but that’s exactly what LG is trying to pull off with the new LG G4 Stylus 3G (H540D) which shall hence be available on retail shelves for 19,000 INR.

The 4G variant for LG G4 Stylus was launched in July 2015 for 24,990 INR and is now available for about the same price as the 3G variant (or lesser). Moreover, the new 3G variant includes trimmed down camera hardware.

As long as we are comparing the two, it’s worth mentioning that the new LG G4 Stylus is powered by 32 bit 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor with Mali 450 GPU, which is a bit dated as of today.

Other hardware includes 5.7 Inch HD display, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, MicroSD cards support, 8MP rear camera with  Laser Auto Focus, 5MP front-facing camera, Capacitive stylus and a 3000 mAh battery. The whole idea is to transmit an LG G4 like software experience in a similar design plastic casing for a more affordable price.  Do you buy that? Let us know in the comment section below.
