Lenovo Vibe K5 With Snapdragon 415 Launched At 6,999 INR

A few weeks past Vibe K5 Plus, Lenovo today introduced a yet affordable but identical looking Vibe K5, which, naturally, dials down on hardware to justify the lower 6,999 INR price tag.

The new Lenovo Vibe K5 is powered by Snapdragon 415 octa-core chipset with Adreno 405 GPU, alongside 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The 5 inch 720p HD IPS LCD display (294 PPI) promises 178-degree wide viewing angles, and 450 Nits brightness.

It’s one of those rare ‘metal’ offerings in this budgets. The rear ‘avaiation-grade’ Aluminum back door is perforated with stereo-speaker grills which constitute the USP of the experience Lenovo is selling here. The Vibe k5 pumps Dolby Atmos audio from these rear-mounted speakers.

Other features include 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, Dual SIM connectivity, MicroSD card support, TheatreMax software support (that splits the screen in two for VR convenience), and a 2750 mAh battery.

On paper,Lenovo Vibe K5 seems to make more sense for its price as compared to Vibe K5 Plus. You can find the detailed specs comparison in the table below.
