Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus with Snapdragon 616 and 13MP shooter launched at Rs. 8,499

Lenovo has once again up the ante to continue its dominance in the Indian affordable-smartphone market. To do so, Lenovo has launched its Vibe K5 Plus in India which it unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2016, last month. This international variant of popular Lemon 3 comes for an aggressive price tag of Rs. 8,499 and will be available on Flipkart in open sales starting 23 March 2016.

The highlight of Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is its metal body, Dolby ATMOS enabled dual speaker, removable battery, dual SIM cards along with microSD card support. Lenovo launch same phone with Lemon sub branding in January in China.

In terms of specs-sheet, the Vibe K5 Plus boasts a 5-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution upfront. Under the hood, features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage, which can be further bumped up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The Vibe K5 Plus is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera in the optics department. It features a 2,750mAh removable battery, and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Vibe UI. Like most Lenovo devices Vibe K5 also comes preloaded with apps such as SHAREit, SNAPit, Guvera Music and few others. The handset also includes Theatremax tech baked in.
