Lenovo’s back in action and is gearing up to launch its next K-series smartphone, most likely the K6 Power, in India.

Three next generation K series phones – K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note – which aren’t vastly different from one another, were first introduced at IFA 2016. All three of these powered by entry grade Snapdragon 430 chipset, and thus the hashtag #KickAssPower being used for promotion is probably referring to the battery power (which is again same for both K6 Note and K6 Power).

Anyways, you can check out the specs of the two relevant K6 series phones in the table below.

There are multiple variants of each and for basic years, each seemed poised to deliver more or less the same experience. Since the same combination of Snapdragon 430 and a 4000mAh battery is resulting in terrific backup on our Zenfone 3 Max review unit, we expect the next K series note to do justice at least to the current marketing tagline.

At the global launch, Lenovo mentioned that the new K series phones will be selling in Dark Grey, Gold, and Silver colors. Lenovo is expected to announce the launch details very soon. Let’s wait and watch.
