iQOO 3 with Snapdragon 865, 5G, and 55W fast charging launched in India

Although 5G technology would take time to be pervasive, the 5G capable phones have started materializing. Today, the newcomer iQOO India has unveiled its iQOO 3 5G smartphone. The brand is going for a grand entry to the market with the latest features and top-of-the-line spec-sheet. The repertoire includes trending stuff like Snapdragon 865 chipset, UFS 3.1 storage, and a high-speed 55W fast charging.

iQOO 3 Highlights

On the front, you have a 6.44-inch FHD+ nearly bezel-less AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. With 1200-nit peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut, the device receives 92% screen-to-ratio. iQOO 3 sticks to the run o’ the mill 60Hz refresh rate.

To the top right corner of the fascia, there is a tiny punch-hole within which lies the phone’s 16MP shooter. Swivel to the back, you’ll see its 48MP quad cam. It is accompanied by a 13MP (f/2.2) Ultra wide-angle cum macro snapper (with 3cm focus), a 13MP (2x optical zoom, 20 digital zoom) Telephoto (f/2.46) and 2MP portrait(f/2.4) lens.

The inside includes Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The company underscored the gaming-centric features too –

  • onboard touch-sensitive buttons christened Monster Touch buttons
  • Ultra Game Mode
  • Carbon Fiber VC Liquid Cooling technology that claims to lower the CPU temperature by 12-degree celsius

Other things to look out for are Dual-mode 5G (with the 12GB model), Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C port, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The source of life is 4,440mAh battery backed by 55W Super Flash charge fast charging. iQOO is shipping the device with Android 10 based iQOO UI.

The phone has been launched in 3 different varieties – INR 36,990 for 8+128GB (4G), INR 39,990 for 8+256GB (4G) and INR 44,990 for the 12+256GB (5G).

You can grab the device once its on sale from March 4 in Tornado Black, Quantum Sliver, and Volcano Earth color hues.
