Vivo IQOO 3 5G tested as brake pads for BMW

It’s been a month since IQOO 3 5G (review) was launched in India as one of the first phones in the country to feature 5G connectivity and Snapdragon 865. The IQOO has now come up with an interesting and create durability test for this brawny gaming phone. 

The video posted on Weibo, a microblogging site of China, features IQOO 3 5G used as a brake pad for a BMW 530Li. The company used two devices in place of standard brake pads. The black beautiful BMW is made to run on a race track at a considerable speed. When the brake is applied, the pressure and friction then fall on the two IQOO 3 devices. Through the Weibo post, the company claims that the two 200g devices have successfully slowed down a 2-ton BMW car.

When the used IQOO 3 were pulled out from the brake pad chamber, it was found that the devices got worn out –  still, they were surprisingly working!

IQOO 3 packs impressive specs like LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, ultra-fast in-display sensor, AMOLED display, and 55W fast charging. Apart from the 5G feature, a 4G version was also launched. IQOO 3 is available in three variants and priced at INR 36,990 (8+128GB 4G), INR 39,990 (8+256GB 4G) and INR 44,990 (12+256GB 5G).
