The rumors related to Google Pixel 4A and Pixel 4A XL have been doing rounds and a recent leak has revealed many details including the Pixel 4A XL box and key specifications. The phones were scheduled to launch officially at the event 2020 Google I/O Conference in May which is now canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Google is still on track, though, and will unveil the devices very soon.
The leaked retail box of Google Pixel 4A reconfirms that the launch is imminent and reveals a few more details we will cover further.
Google Pixel 4A Specs
We earlier reported that Google Pixel 4A is to arrive with a 5.81 inch FHD+ LCD screen, slightly bigger panel than previous 5.6-inch Pixel phones. We had also stated that the phone may feature a punch-hole in the left corner of the screen for a front camera and the rear camera array arranged in a square fashion. The latest leaks have quite validated these points. Further, sources explained that the front will possess an 8MP sensor and the rear camera will support a 12.2MP primary lens with Pixel’s usual autofocus and OIS/EIS.

As reported by 9to5google, Google Pixel 4A will preferably get a plastic body like the previous Pixel 3A-series. They further confirm that the phone lacks the Soli sensors, so shall not feature face unlock. Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC with 8 cores and Adreno 640 is expected to be the driving chipset. The leak suggested that Pixel 4A models will have 6GB RAM paired with 64GB storage.
The Pixel 4A is expected to hold a 3080mAh battery and 18W fast charging support via USB Type-C cable. Google is likely to retain a 3.5mm audio jack and rear fingerprint sensor.
Google Pixel 4A Price and Availability
Pixel 4A is expected to have a mid-range price. The price for the base model could be $399. The mid-range phone is likely to launch in two color variants- Barely Blue and Just Black. There are no details yet if Google will go for its favorite white color variant, as of now.
The Google Pixel 4A and Pixel 4A XL are expected to launch in May 2020.
