iQOO 3 price slashed in India; now starts at Rs 34,990

Vivo sub-brand iQOO has announced up to Rs. 4000 price cut for iQOO 3 in India. Prices have been slashed for all variants and iQOO 3 price in India now starts at Rs 34,990 instead of its original starting price of Rs 38,990.

To recall, the iQOO 3 was one of the first Snapdragon 865 and 5G phones in India. It touts high-end specifications like the Snapdragon 865 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, 48MP quad cameras, and 55W fast charging support. The flagship smartphone comes in three variants, and only the top-end version with 12GB RAM supports 5G connectivity.

iQOO 3 new prices in India after price cut

iQOO started its journey in India with iQOO 3 launch back in February. At launch, it debuted at Rs 36,990 but in April the company revised the starting price to Rs 38,990 due to GST hike. Now, the company has announced a permanent price cut for iQOO 3.

Gagan Arora pointed impact on affordability due to COVID 19 as the rationale behind the permanent price cut. In a statement, he said: “In order to continue with our proposition of offering best-in-class features with 5G capabilities at an affordable price point, we have decided to refresh our pricing, making the iQOO the most cost-effective 5G enabled device in India.”

iQOO as a brand has reiterated that it will continue to provide Android updates regularly. iQOO offers its flagship phone in black, silver and orange colours. The 3 will retail on official website and Flipkart post the coronavirus lockdown.
