Rumors about the upcoming iPhone SE and iPhone 16 series are generating a lot of buzz. The iPhone SE, expected to arrive in early 2025, might actually launch alongside the iPhone 16 series, as suggested by leaked marketing material shared on Weibo.

iPhone SE

According to this alleged marketing material, the new iPhone SE will feature a 6.1” screen, much like the iPhone 14, with a smaller notch at the top. It’s also said to include Face ID. Under the hood, it’ll be powered by the A18 Bionic chip, which is expected to debut in the iPhone 16 series.

The leaked poster hints at a price of 4199 Yuan (around $599 or ₹50,000), though the accuracy of this information is still uncertain. While the front design appears to mirror the iPhone 14, the back of the phone remains under wraps. Rumors suggest that it might retain the single camera setup typical of previous SE models.

iPhone 16 Pro

Turning to the iPhone 16 Pro, the same user in Weibo shared its marketing material too. The new dedicated camera button will be added to the lower part of the right bezel. The back design is expected to remain consistent with last year’s camera module layout.

Under the hood, the iPhone 16 Pro will likely be powered by the A18 Pro chip, with an upgraded 48 MP ultra-wide-angle camera that incorporates ultra-thin prism reflection technology, allowing more light to reach the camera sensor.

This technology will be supported by the neural network engine on the A18 Pro chipset. Color options are said to include Black, White, Blue, and Yellow, with no sign of the previously speculated Bronze variant. That’s likely reserved for the Pro Max model.

The iPhone 16 series is expected to arrive next month i.e., September 2024. However, the launch date of the iPhone SE is still something we’re uncertain about. What are your thoughts? Let us know.
