Huawei is all set to launch the Nova 5i, Nova 5 and apparently a Nova 5 Pro on the coming Friday, i.e. June 21. Earlier, images of the Pro variant showed up on the Chinese e-commerce website, and now more specs including camera specs have surfaced online on Weibo and on the JD.com.

The leaked data lists quad rear cameras, 32MP front camera, Kirin 980, AMOLED display, optical in-display sensor, 40W fast charge, and more.

Huawei Nova 5 Pro: Key Specs

Huawei Nova 5 Pro boasts formidable hardware under the hood like Hisilicon quad-core Kirin 980 SoC. This would be backed by 8GB of RAM coupled with either 128GB or 256GB storage.

The renders up online reveal the Nova 5 Pro would come with a waterdrop notch display. It sports narrow bezels resulting in a large screen real estate. This would be an OLED panel exuding digital cinema color standard. The display would carry an embedded in-screen fingerprint scanner. As for the selfie snapper, it could be a 24MP camera.

The 3D front display panel curves into the back. Here, you get a gradient glass finish, housing a quad-camera panel. The camera bump is home to- a primary 48MP sensor, a 16MP super-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. Right next to the panel, the last module, likely a 3D ToF unit resides.

The leak suggests the absence of 3.5mm headphone jack. Instead, you will have to resort to a USB-C port to connect the headphone. The color variants spotted from our source are bright black, Dilemma Forests, Midsummer Purple, and Coral Orange. (Yes, rare color names indeed!)

While scraping the web, these details were initially spotted at JD.com and later via Weibo.com, The pricing details seems to be a placeholder for now. IN the coming week ahead of the launch, we could expect more details to emerge online. Huawei would take the veil off the Nova 5 series on next Friday.
