Our transition to an era of glass-finish phones is now complete. In spite of a few trade-offs involved, all smartphone makers have unanimously agreed upon glass being the most premium construction material for phones. Realme brought the X factor in terms of both looks and specs with this phone. The Master edition, in particular, looks gorgeous thanks to the designs by Naoto Fukasawa. The Onion and Garlic hue fuse the simple organic texture and essence of the veggies. The technology of micro- nanopatterning and ultra-vacuum optical coating allows light to glide across at different angles.

 

Realme X (review) is powered by Snapdragon 710 processor teamed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The internals bears a 3765 mAh battery, with fast charging support. The cameras include a 48 MP primary plus 5 MP Dual Rear and a 16 MP Front Camera. This selfie shooter is housed within a motorized raiser, which confers a full-screen full-HD+ AMOLED display. And there is an on-screen fingerprint scanner as well.

3. Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro

Redmi K20 Pro comes in Carbon Black, Glacier Blue, and Flame Red colors with 3D gradient pattern on a glass and metal body. In the case of the latter two, you could see the color shift based on light transitions. This accentuates on the curved edges. You get Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides. The Carbon Black color is for those who prefer a less gaudy finish.

The performance is born by an industrial best Snapdragon 855, backed by 8 layer liquid cooling, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. 4. OnePlus 7 Pro

OnePlus always has something exquisite to offer in terms of design. This years’ flagship, the 7 Pro comes has an ingenious Nebula Blue color option that should appeal to both – people looking for something flashy, and those with understated taste.

Also, the glass on the back has been polished for a silky, smooth feel. This smoothness extends to the front, where the 7 Pro brandishes a curved-edge, notch-free display with 90Hz refresh rate, making screen transitions… well, smooth.

5. Huawei P30 Pro

Pioneer in Smartphone gradients, Huawei aced its game with the beautiful gradients on the P30 Pro (review). If we were to use Huawei’s marketing lingo, these patters are inspired by the “ethereal beauty of salt flats” as seen during the different times of the day.

The Amber Sunrise option represents the golden morning, the popular breathing crystal variant summarises the day time salt flat looks when the sun is held high, and the Aurora Black depicts the dark night with shimmering stars.

6. Huawei Mate 20 Pro

9. Vivo S1

Vivo S1 (review) is an affordable phone that prioritizes style and clings on to gradient aesthetic. The phone’s back panel has a diamond pattern design which reflects seamlessly transiting color tones to ensure an elegant impression. Then there’s Skyline Blue version of the phone which as the name suggest inspired from the perfect evening sky.

 

Apart from gradient design, the phone packs decent hardware with FUll HD+ AMOLED screen on the front and MediaTek MT6768 Helio P65 at the heart of it. The Vivo S1 is said to come with a 32-megapixel selfie camera, triple rear camera, FunTouch OS, and  4,500mAh battery.

10. Samsung Galaxy M40

Samsung has consistently delivered amazing colors across its entire portfolio. The rather affordable Galaxy M40 (review) has a glass-finish body and comes in two graceful “two-tone” or gradient options – Midnight blue and Seawater blue. Of these, the Seawater blue looks particularly striking.

The Galaxy M40 is a performance-centric phone and the only affordable option from Samsung to employ a Qualcomm chipset (Snapdragon 675). It’s also light and handy with a trendy punch-hole display, and is, unfortunately, missing the audio jack.
