The phone is one of the six members of the ZenFone 4 series that the company intends to launch within this month.(हिंदी में पढ़ें)

Trudging on to the specifications of the phone, it features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution, and boots the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box (there’s the company’s customary ZenUI on the top, too).

The ZenFone 4 Max is available in the form of two variants differing on the processor used inside. One of the variants uses an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset, while the other one has a quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC installed inside.

Furthermore, the phone boasts of two separate, dedicated SIM slots (a change from the recent tide of Hybrid SIM slots sporting smartphones), and is also available in a few varying storage options (16GB/32GB/64GB).

Coming to the optics, there’s a 13MP camera put in place on the back, which has a 120° field of view, while the 12MP selfie snapper can cover a 140° field of view.

The maximum RAM that the phone carries is 4GB, while there are variants available with lesser RAMs, too.

Other than that, the phone houses a 5,000mAh battery (that is also being considered to be its USP), that, as the company puts it, is capable of providing a 3-hour talktime backup with just 15 minutes of charge.

Zenfone 4 Max (ZC554KL) Price and Availability

The phone is currently available for purchase in Russia, where the phone’s quad-core, Snapdragon 425-totting, 2GB/16GB RAM/ROM combination variant costs $235 (approx. Rs. 15,200).

The company has kept mum for now as far as the phone’s global availability is concerned, but the Indian pricing of the phone is expected to be a bit lower than the current price in India, since the Russian market is a bit pricier than ours.
