Asus Zenfone 3 Laser With Snapdragon 430 Launched At 18,999 INR

Apart from Zenfone 3 series triumvirate, Asus also presented the new Zenfone 3 laser in India, priced at 18,999 INR.

The Zenfone 2 Laser, launched last year, owed its success to design semblance with top tier Zenfone 2 models, and integration of a reasonable camera module with Laser AF even at affordable price. Asus further cashed in on the success by bringing in a few other better specced variants to an over-crowded table.

The new Zenfone 3 isn’t all that affordable, but sticks to the same ethos.

You get a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX214 sensor, Laser AF, 3-axis EIS, and an 8MP front-facing camera, also with wide f/2.0 aperture optics.

The Zenfone 3 Laser offers a metal unibody casing available in Glacier Silver and Sand Gold colors. At the front, the 5.5-inch Full HD display is shielded by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 layer.

A Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with Adreno 505GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage will fuel Android Marshmallow based redesigned Zen UI 3.0 Software.

Other features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Hybrid dual SIM card slot, a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3000 mAh battery.

Thanks heaven there are no confusing multiple variants for this one.
