Asus ZenBook Pro 15 With 4K Display and Intel Core i9 Processor Announced: Specs, Features and More

Asus’s newly announced ZenBook Pro 15 (UX550GD) is the most powerful and unique laptop in its entire lineup. The biggest talking point of the Zenbook 15 is its 4K display and a hexacore Intel Core i9 chipset inside. Asus has somehow managed to pack it all inside an 18.9mm frame that weighs just 1.86kgs.

The Zenfone 15 exterior shell is predominantly carved out of aluminum which has been given a premium finish of Deep Dive Blue color with Rose Gold accents. For proper air ventilation, it features a dual fan system with 3 heat pipes to keep the system cool.

Asus ZenBook Pro 15 laptop Features

The Asus ZenBook sports a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display where most premium variant comes with 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution. Asus has sourced Intel’s latest 8th generation Core i9 chipset to enthrall under its hood. There is also slightly cheaper variants which are powered by an Intel Core i5 and Core i7 respectively. For Graphics, the Zenbook Pro 15 houses a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM.

Asus offers the laptop in 8GB and 16GB of DDR4 RAM configurations. It comes in different SSD capacities, going all the way up to 1TB. To meet the power requirements, it packs a 71Whr 8-cell lithium-polymer battery which, as per official claims, can last for up to 9 hours. It also features a back-lit keyboard, precision touchpad and Harmon Kardon speakers for good audio output. The laptop comes running on Windows 10 OS.

The laptop includes two Type-C ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an SD card reader, Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.0 as connectivity options.

Asus Zenbook Pro 15 India Price and Availablity

Asus hasn’t revealed any detail about its plans to bring Zenbook Pro 15 to India. The India price for Zenbook Pro 15 hasn’t been announced yet.
