Digital Chat Station, a trusted tipster, has provided insights on Weibo regarding the design and display features of Apple’s upcoming foldable device. According to DGC, the device may feature a 5.49-inch external display, complemented by a sizable 7.4-inch main folding screen. While specific details about the display specifications remain unclear, the tipster suggests that Apple is implementing significant enhancements to the foldable concept.

Notebook-style phones typically feature a square-shaped main display, suggesting that Apple may be developing a genuine hybrid device that merges the functionalities of an iPhone and an iPad. DGC speculates that Apple’s foldable device could open similarly to an iPad. Additionally, the informant discussed the design of this foldable, drawing comparisons to the Oppo Find N. Reports indicate that Apple’s inaugural foldable will be thicker and shorter than the Oppo Find N.
