Rumors around Apple’s upcoming products always keep making waves in the tech world. For the last few months, we have been hearing about Apple working on a foldable iPhone, the next iPhone SE, and more. Now, Apple’s plans have finally been revealed. The company’s roadmap for the years 2024 to 2027 has surfaced online courtesy of @Tech_Rave on X (formerly Twitter). The roadmap has not only revealed what Apple will be launching but also a few specs of the upcoming devices. Looking at the roadmap, it is pretty clear that if Apple intends to follow it to the T, then the next few years will be busy for the company.

Apple’s Roadmap 2024-2027

In 2027, Apple plans to launch its augmented reality glasses with a 1.4-inch RGB micro OLED or micro LED display. Not much has been heard about these glasses as the focus has solely been on Vision Pro since last year. A foldable 20-inch iPad is also expected to launch in 2027.

In 2026, Apple is working towards coming up with a more affordable version of the Reality Vision Pro along with an 8-inch foldable iPhone. Recent rumors claimed that the foldable iPhone would launch after the foldable iPad but seems like the company’s plans are the opposite. 2026 is also expected to see the launch of a long-rumored OLED MacBook.

Coming closer, 2025 has been planned for the launch of the iPhone SE4. This matches with the recent reports around the iPhone SE4 that claim Apple will launch it in early 2025. The mid-ranger will have a more modern design and an OLED display this time.

Now, talking about this year, 2024 will mostly see the launch of an 11-inch iPad Pro and a 12.9-inch iPad Pro, both having OLED screens. Most of the tipsters have also claimed a 2024 launch for these iPads, so their announcements might come anytime soon. Alongside, iPads Apple will focus on announcements like iOS 18, Artificial intelligence, and other softwares. This will take place during the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2024.

Reports claim there will be four iPad models with two from Pro Series and two from Air Series. The biggest upgrade, as mentioned above will be the 12.9-inch iPad Air for the first time.
