A Smart Plug lets you control smart devices and appliances remotely through the Alexa app on your phone as well as voice commands. With it, you can also schedule the on/off routine for the connected device(s) and have them do so automatically. The newly launched Amazon Smart Plug with 3-pin socket design is touted to be convenient and smart at this job.
Let’s see its description and understand how it works.

Once its on, open the Alexa app on your phone. The app will scan and notify you of an available connection. Select the “New plug found” and proceed with the setup process. Once it’s set up and ready, it will enable voice control to any outlet.
In case it doesn’t detect the Smart Plug, you can manually hunt for it by tapping the Devices icon in the lower right corner.
