Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026: Bank Offers, Deal Categories, And What To Expect

It’s that time of the year again! The country’s largest e-commerce platforms are announcing their biggest sale of the year, and today it’s Amazon’s turn. Its Great Indian Festival 2026 kicks off on October 8, 2026. 

Interestingly, the company isn’t talking about big discounts (at least for now). It’s focusing more on the infrastructure behind the sale, which tells me it has something to do with the global memory crisis pushing consumer electronics prices upward.

Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026: The Discounts And Bank Offers

For now, the platform has only announced a basic rundown of the website-wide offers, not product-specific offers or deals. For instance, SBI cardholders get a flat 10% instant discount on debit, credit, and credit EMI transactions, while Prime members stack an additional 10% on top of that. 

Beyond the headline numbers, Amazon has a couple of dozen deal categories to watch: 8 PM Deals for evening scrollers, Blockbuster Deals, Top 100 Deals, Mega Deals, and a combo play called Blockbuster Deals.

Which Phones Are Actually Getting Cut

Amazon hasn’t dropped official names or numbers yet. However, teaser pages offer some clues. We could see discounts on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (not the latest S26 Ultra), OnePlus 13s (review), iQOO 15 (review), Xiaomi 17, and Vivo X300 FE (review) at the flagship end. These are some of the most expensive smartphones in the market right now, and it will be interesting to see whether 

In the mid-range segment, the Galaxy M47, Redmi Note 17 (review), Redmi A7 Pro, and OnePlus Nord CE 6 (review) could also get serious discounts. However, take this with a pinch of salt unless Amazon specifically announces these smartphones as its flagship deals. 

Given that the memory crisis has already inflated the prices of almost all consumer electronics categories, the impact on retailer margins could be real as well. So, if you don’t see as good deals on smartphones, laptops, tablets, or smartwatches this year, you already know why.

Why The Logistics Story Matters More Than It Sounds

Along with the regular sale and discount announcements, Amazon’s opening 20 new fulfillment centers, six sort centers, and 150 last-mile delivery stations. This is by far its largest operations expansion in India, as the company says. 

And Amazon Now (Amazon’s quick-commerce wing) is scaling from 60-plus cities to 100 before Diwali. Basically, the company is pushing into Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns. This is a big announcement in itself, and it will also help Amazon fulfill the orders made during the Great Indian Festival in a timely manner.
