2024 Lamborghini Urus SE to Hit the Indian shores on August 9

The new Lamborghini Urus SE the latest iteration of the Urus is finally going to hit the Indian shores on August 9, but it already made its global debut back in April 2024. Being the facelift, the Urus SE is going to have some mechanical updates, especially to its engine. Let’s dive in and have a look at what has changed.

Lamborghini Urus SE: Updates

Let’s start with the aesthetics, the new Urus SE has a slightly different front design with a new DRL pattern which is there in place of older Y-shaped DRLs. With all the changes and improvements, the Urus retains its angular design, large air dams, chunky wheel arches, and sleek lights which further contribute to its muscular aesthetics and presence on roads.   

Here comes the most interesting part the engine, this means looking hyper SUV draws power from a mammoth of an engine placed under its hood, it’s a 4.0-liter Twin-turbo V8 engine churning out a monstrous 620 HP of power and 800 Nm groundbreaking torque, the newest iteration of the Urus SE is also equipped with a 25.9 kWh battery which powers an electric motor which also puts out an impressive 189 HP and 483 Nm of torque. The Urus SE on the electric mode can cover a distance of 60 Km with a top speed of 130 Kmph and the power is transferred to the wheels via an 8-speed gearbox.

The Electronic updates consist of an electronic real differential, recalibrated drive modes, an electronic torque vectoring system, and more. According to the Lamborghini, the Urus SE is 15% more aerodynamically efficient and it is designed to develop 35% more downforce compared to the older models.

In the interior, the driver would be able to enjoy a large 12.3-inch infotainment system along with a 12.3-inch digital cockpit with redesigned AC vents and jet fighter-like feel. There is also a long list of personalization options. The performance air suspension is a standard feature of the new Urus SE.
