TL; DR
  • Amazon Prime Day 2026 is confirmed for India in July; exact dates still pending.
  • All three Prime tiers unlock access; SBI and ICICI cards get 10% off.
  • Build your wishlist, link your bank card, and activate Prime before July arrives.

One of the most popular e-commerce platforms in the country, Amazon, has officially confirmed that the Prime Day 2026 sale will take place in India in July. While shoppers in other parts of the world, including those in the U.S. and over 20 other countries, get their Prime Day sale in June, ours will be in July.

India Gets Its Own Prime Day 2026 Window, Again

Although the company hasn’t announced any exact dates or schedule yet, the Indian Prime Day 2026 sale could last for up to two days or 48 hours sometime in the second or third week of July. The sale will span across items from every category, including electronics, kitchen appliances, beauty, fashion, and daily needs or essentials.

In 2025, Amazon delivered over 55 crore products to its Indian customers either the same day or the next day, during the Prime Day sale, and the number could only go up this year. Apart from the existing deals from sellers, SBI and ICICI Bank cardholders will get an additional 10% discount on eligible products during the sale (the maximum limit has been set to Rs. 10,000).

You’ll Need a Prime Membership: Here’s What It Costs

The Amazon Pay ICICI credit card continues to offer unlimited 5% cashback. However, like every year, the sale will be exclusive for the Amazon Prime members, which is a paid subscription tier. For those who haven’t subscribed yet, an Amazon Prime membership costs Rs. 1,499 per year (the complete membership with Prime Video and Music).

However, considering the price sensitivity of the market, Amazon has also launched new subscription tiers targeted for Indian customers: Prime Lite at Rs. 799 (shopping and limited Prime Video access), and Prime Shopping Edition at Rs. 399 (shopping benefits only). All three memberships unlock Prime Day 2026 access. Sm

While the exact dates and deals for the Indian Prime Day 2026 sale will be revealed closer to the event, I’d suggest you start building your wishlist and link your SBI or ICICI card to your Amazon account (or your friend’s, if you don’t have one), and make sure that the membership is active before the sale begins.
