Xiaomi Redmi 4A is a very interesting entry-level handset with a 5-inch display and a sizeable battery. Since its availability is restricted to China as of now, you will have to buy and import it to India.
Talking of the specifications, the Redmi 4A is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor that is a minor upgrade to the yesteryear Snapdragon 410 with a better modem and decoder. The chipset is aided by 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The phone also accepts up to 128GB of secondary microSD storage (only if you are willing to let go of the second SIM card slot, though).
For photography, there is a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera, both with standard f/2.2 aperture optics.
Xiaomi has also added an IR sensor that enables you to control IR-remote based home appliances with your phone. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, GLONASS and 3030mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A sounds as good as it gets for the price. The lowest price of Xiaomi Redmi 4A in India is expected to be around 5,499 INR.
