After introducing the Mi 5X in the Chinese market, earlier in July, Xiaomi will launch its first dual-rear facing camera in India. The phone comes clad in a metallic unibody design, which adds a premium look to the phone, and will be available in three different color options - Black, Gold, and Pink.
Talking about the specification it holds under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi 5X will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at up to 2GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage, which is expandable to up to 128GB via SD card.
For photography, the Mi 5X will come with a dual rear camera setup where one sensor will be a 12MP wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture, and another a 12MP telephoto sensor and f/2.6 aperture. On the front, the smartphone features a 5MP camera that comes with real-time beautification setting.
The 5.5-inch display on Mi 5X will run on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and house a 3080mAh battery. Connectivity option on the Mi 5X include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
