When Does The Update Land In India?

The update arrives on the Apple App Store in November. It’s free for existing subscribers. New subscribers have to pay ₹399 a month or ₹3,999 a year. College students and educators pay ₹199 or ₹1,999, which is genuinely good pricing.

Apple also offers a one-month trial. In fact, buying a new Mac or eligible iPads also gives you three months free. Family Sharing lets one plan cover six people. However, Family Sharing is not available with the student and educator plans.

Mac versions sell outright, as listed below. Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform keep their free versions on every new iPhone, Mac and iPad. However, the new assistants are available only to subscribers.

What’s Actually New Inside The Apps?

Final Cut Pro for Mac now includes MotionVFX. It adds thousands of effects, titles, transitions, and templates. You also get advanced features like rotoscoping, tracking, and color-grading tools.

Even better, you can now open a timeline image in Pixelmator Pro and send it back without reimporting. The app’s Generate Fill feature lets you circle something in a picture, describe a change in plain text, and get a result that not only fulfills the command but also matches the surrounding light, perspective, and texture.

One of the headline updates, the beta assistant, arrives in Logic Pro for Mac. Built on Apple and OpenAI models, it helps creators start songs, set up vocal tracks, and refine projects with simple text prompts. The redesigned Browser in Logic Pro makes it easier to find sounds, and the Stem Splitter can now isolate drums from a recording.

Keynote, Pages and Numbers also get beta assistants and MCP support. You can now integrate third-party AI agents into the apps to edit or refine your documents. They also add stock video to the Content Hub and introduce new premium themes and templates.

Freeform picks up more features in December.
