Xiaomi Mi A2 Official Teaser Confirms Arrival Of Next Gen Android One Phones

We already had an inkling of Mi A2 official launch being scheduled on July 24 in Madrid, Spain. Now, Xiaomi has officially teased the arrival of its next-generation Android One phones on twitter for the first time.

The #2isbetterthan1 hashtag that Xiaomi is using for promotion all but confirms the arrival of two new Android One phones this year – The Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite – that also got listed on a polish retail website recently

Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite Features

The Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite will be rehashed versions of Mi 6X and Redmi 6 Pro (that were earlier launched in China), respectively but they will be running stock Android software.

Going by credible rumors, the Mi A2 includes 5.99-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by octa-core SD 660 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and up to 64GB of storage. Just as the Mi 6X, the Mi A2 also includes 12MP+20MP dual rear cameras, 20MP selfie camera, IR sensor, Fingerprint reader, and a 3010mAh battery. Unlike the Mi 6X, the Mi A2 is expected to include 3.5mm audio jack as well.

The Mi A2 Lite, on the other hand, will be a more affordable alternative that shall include a 5.84-inch full HD+ screen with a trendy notch at the top and a wide chin at the bottom. The handset will be powered by 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core mobile platform with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. The handset will allegedly include a 4000mAh battery, 12MP + 5MP rear camera, and a 5MP selfie camera.
