Xiaomi launched a slew of much-anticipated products in India and abroad today (great way of stealing Honor’s thunder, by the way). On the sidelines of Mi A2 and Mi A2 global launch, Xiaomi-backed Huami also presented Amazfit Bip and Amazfit Strato Smartwatches in India. Of the two, the Stratos is a premium, comprehensive tracker and the Bip is a mostly a basic smartwatch with a long-lasting battery.

Amazfit Bip and Amazefit Stratos India Price and Availability

In India, the Amazfit Bip and Amazfit Stratos cost Rs. 5,490 and Rs. 15,999, respectively. You can buy both of them exclusively on Flipkart.

Amazfit Stratos Features

As the price suggests, the Amazfit Stratos is the high-end option of the two wearables. The GPS-equipped smartwatch has a 1.34-inch always-on display (320 x 300 pixels) has a trans-reflective layer on top and is protected by Gorilla Glass on top. It can also water resistant and survive up to 50-meters of depth

Amazfit Stratos is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor backed by 4GB of storage and can track 12 different fitness activities. It can also actively measure heart rate and track VO2 max levels using Firstbeat Technologies heart rate analytics engine, that is used to determine how efficiently a user’s body is converting food into energy. The Firstbeat software also guides users regarding what areas to focus on.

Amazfit Bip Features

Amazfit Bip is the more affordable option of the two and sports a slightly smaller 1.28-inch display. The Bip is IP68 water resistant certified and can track basic activities, sleep, and heart rate – same as most other affordable fitness bands.

What differentiates it from a regular fitness band is its slick Apple-watch inspired design. Another standout feature is its 30-days battery life, which according to Huami, can also extend to 45 days with minimal use.

Amazfit Bip can pair with Android and iOS devices but you can’t avail third-party app support.
