Honor 9N With Notch Display, Dual Cameras Launched In India: Price, Features and Specs

Huawei’s e-brand has finally launched its Honor 9N in India after extensively teasing on social media. The Honor 9N is primarily a rebranded version of Honor 9i (2018) which was launched in China last month. The Honor 9N highlights include a notch display and a dual camera optics at the rear.

Honor 9N Features

The mid-range phone boasts of a metal unibody design that is studded with a notched-screen on the front. The Honor 9N houses a 5.84-inch Full HD+ IPS screen with 19:9 aspect ratio. The notch on the top of the display features a selfie cameras, proximity sensor, notification light and earpiece.

The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s octa-core Kirin 659 SoC. Honor is offering you a choice between 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM. As for internal storage, there is an option to choose between 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. To ensure hiccup-free gaming performance, the company has said that it will unlock GPU turbo feature via future OTA update.

As for optics, the Honor 9i boasts a dual setup of 13MP + 2MP dual at the rear end and 16MP selfie camera on the front. Both rear and front cameras are powered by Huawei’s AI matrix. The phone also includes face unlock and fingerprint sensor.

The phone also includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and a Micro-USB port as connectivity options. The Huawei Honor 9N is aided by a regular 3,000mAh battery which, however, doesn’t support fast charging out of the box. The Huawei Honor 9N boots EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Honor 9N Price in India and Availability

The Honor 9N price in India starts at Rs 11,990 (for 3GB RAM + 32GB variant) while the top-end variant i.e Honor 9N (6GB+128GB) is priced at Rs 17,990. The Honor 9i (4GB + 64GB version to retail for Rs 13,990 in the country. The Honor 9N first sale to be held at noon on 31 July on Flipkart and Hihonor store.
