Xiaom Gimbal For Smartphones With 3-Axis Stabilization and 5000mAh Battery Launched: Price and Features

Xiaomi has launched a 3-axis stabilized gimbal for smartphones in China under its Mijia sub-brand. The new Xiaomi Gimbal comes with a 5000mAh battery, time-lapse support, position-tracking, and weighs around 476 grams.

Xiaomi Gimbal features

The Xiaomi Gimbal can support phones with up to 86mm of width and up to 200grams of heft. You can pair it with the proprietary app to shoot time lapse and for position tracking. Once the subject is locked, the gimbal can track it 360-degrees with an accuracy close to 0.03 degrees.

Xiaomi claims to use high precision altitude sensor and full-closed-loop servo system to reduce jitters.

You can also use the app to change the orientation of the mounted smartphone from horizontal to vertical or vice versa. Other app options include manual controls for ISO, white balance, shutter speed, Zoom, timer, etc.

The 5000mAh battery within can last for up to 16 hours and can also be used as a power bank to charge other gadgets.

On the bottom, there is a standard 1/4-inch screw that can be used to attach a tripod or other mounts and accessories.

Xiaomi Gimbal Price and Availability

The Xiaomi Gimbal Price in China is 599 Yuan, which converts to around $90 or Rs. 6,300. It will go on sale starting June 16. There is no official word on availability outside China as of now.
