Vivo Nex S and Nex A Features

Vivo Nex S and Nex A have a 19.3:9 aspect ratio notch-less Amoled screens. Also, the in-display fingerprint sensor is exclusive to Vivo Nex S.

As stated above, the Nex Phones don’t have a notch, but you will still have to bear a chin. As for other mandatory components: the selfie camera is retractable and it pops up from the top, the speaker has been replaced by ‘screen sound casting technology’ where the display vibrates to generate sound output, and the proximity sensor is the ultrasonic type, present beneath the display.

The 8GB RAM Nex S variants are powered by Snapdragon 845, while the comparatively cheaper base variant employs Snapdragon 710. The camera hardware is almost similar to the Vivo X21, but this time Vivo has added 4-axis OIS, which should help improve lowlight photography.

The software running on the phone is Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS 4.0 with integrated AI enhancements. The Nex phones also have a dedicated button to summon Jobi voice assistant.

And yes, there is a 22.5W charger in the box to fast charge 4000mAh battery housed within.
