Vivo has finally launched their much awaited dual display phone for the Chinese market. This phone is the successor to the Vivo Nex which was released earlier this year. The first edition of the phone saw Vivo implementing a pop-up module for housing the front camera. Building on its foundation of providing users with a full-screen display, Vivo Nex 2 implements dual displays to negate the need for the front camera module.

Vivo Nex 2 Features

Vivo Nex 2 features two AMOLED panels on either side of the phone. The primary display is a 6.39-inch full HD+ panel with (1080 x 2340) resolution. The secondary panel is a 5.49-inch full HD display with (1080 x 1920) resolution. The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset and packs a mammoth 10GB RAM under the hood. The phone comes with an internal storage of 128GB.

On the optics front, the phone features a triple camera module consisting of a 12MP primary sensor with OIS, a 2MP secondary night vision sensor and a tertiary TOF 3D sensor. Since there is no front camera module, if you want to unlock the phone using face unlock, then you have to use the rear shooters. The camera module is surrounded by a lunar ring which lights up with incoming notifications and also to provides gleam lighting in low light conditions.
