Vu Launches four new Ultra 4K TV Series starting at Rs 25,999

Vu Televisions has launched four new Ultra 4K TV models in India starting at Rs 25,999. The new VU Smart TVs come in four screen sizes – 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch – and will be available both online and offline.

Vu Ultra 4K TV Series Pricing and Availability

The Vu Ultra 4K TV are already available on eCommerce giant Amazon in India and will be available in the offline market later. The price of the Vu 43-inch model is Rs 25,999, the 50-inch TV costs Rs. 30,999, while customers will have to shell out Rs 32,999 for the 55-inch model. The top model of the series with a 65-inch display costs Rs 48,999.

Vu Ultra 4K TV Series Features

The Vu Ultra 4K TV Series comes with 4K ultra HD Dired LED (DLED) display with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and 400nits brightness.

All four models feature dual speakers that deliver 30W audio output. The TV audio support advanced surround technologies featuring Dolby Audio, DTS Virtual-X surround sound, TruBass HDX, and TruSurround X.

The Vu Ultra 4K TV Series has got a quad-core chipset coupled with Mali-470 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. Dual-band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, a BlueRay player, and a gaming console are provided for connectivity. The models also have built-in Chromecast support.

The new 4K TV series runs on the Android 9 Pie operating system that ships with Google Play services like apps, movies, TV, music, and games. The remote control comes with voice search support using Google Assistant in English and Hindi languages. The licensed apps that come pre-installed are YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hotstar.

The Parental Block feature enables the parents to supervise and has control over the content to be watched by their children. The remote control features hotkeys for Google Play and other OTT apps.

“Vu Television is a 1000 crore premium television brand. This is the company that has sold over 22 lakhs televisions and has a 97% customer repeat rate,” said
Vu Televisions CEO Devita Saraf revealed during the launch event.
