After weeks of leaks and teasers, Vivo S5 has finally unveiled at an event in Beijing, China. This is the new smartphone from the brand’s style-centric ‘S’ series. The new phone is a successor to the Vivo S1, which had its debut back in July. So in a span of four months, Vivo has leaped straight to S5. Let’s see what it brings on board to justify the upgrade.

Vivo S5 highlights

First things first, the phone has a visual novelty to it. To the front, you get a 6.44-inch 20:9 Super AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.38% and 2400×1080 pixel resolution. There is an in-display fingerprint reader as well.
